When I Hurt

The full moon of the light shone down on the Luakini Landstrip. The breeze was cool as it blew across the large prairie land. The full moon shone down upon a lone figure that walked along in the shadows. The small spotted figure walked slowly through the grass, almost covered by the long grass. The figure's head popped higher above the grass, making him look a lot taller now, for he had been hanging his head low. His gray and black spotted head, the white star on his forehead stood out like a sore hoof.

When I Bleed

The small colt kept walking, and the moon shine followed him, lighting up his white pelt. The colt stopped near a small stream and walked over to the edge and took a long drink from the cold stream. As he drank he thought of his mother and her warm milk, instead of the ice-cold water he was drinking now. He lifted his head up and let his blue eyes scan the land around him. He snorted when he saw nothing around him, and then he turned and walked back up to the grass. He turned three times before he lied down in the cool grass, with a loud sigh. "During times like these, I wish I had someone." He said aloud, but he knew he ment not a word of it.
