Welcome to Valley of the Shadows. This is a wild horse role-play, with the common "darks" against "lights". This role-play is rated PG-13. We hope you enjoy your stay.
July 15, 2008 We are still making some improvements on the site, but people are role-playing as we work through the new site thing. We only have a few members, and not all of them are role-playing. So we do need more activity, but you know, you can only ask for so much.

A preview of our plot (Taken from our website): As written in the Book of Souls… Long ago there was nothing but a single star in the black void of space. Slowly the star grew old, and its color changed from a bright yellow to an angry red. As all stars do when they grow old, this one exploded. The entire universe shook with the impact of the single star’s explosion while boulders the size of planets flew from the star’s core amongst the gas and flames. For thousands upon thousands of years the flames slowly died out, and the boulders spread to the farthest reaches of space. The force of gravity created many more stars as the largest boulders attracted flames and gas toward them. Many other rocks crashed into larger ones and disintegrated forever more. It was a time of chaos and destruction that should never be forgotten.....Click here to read more!

The stallion smiled at the new mare, and wondered if he should tell her of the death that had happened here. He shifted his weight on his legs and then nodded to himself before he spoke to her. "A foal was killed here a year ago. He was standing under one of these trees and a coconut fell upon his skull and cracked it. The coconut killed the foal, but after three days of him bleeding inside and a little from the open skull wound." He looked sadly over to an open spot between two trees and remembered that was the spot where the colt had spent his last, yet long, days.

"whats going through your mind? You look so sad ....so devistated." She looked at his sad face and noticed his expression. Then she turned her head and looked at the row of trees lined up and wondered the same he had wondered. Then looked into the sky and saw the sun shining bright in the sky. The heat was rising and the sun was blazing over the beach. The treleaves of the trees were blowing in the wind and the tree's were swaying in the breeze. Nature was showing its beauty.

The sun rose a little higher into the bright, blue sky. The sun was already warming the stallion's bay coat, and it wasn't even noon. He took a deep breath and he knew it was going to be a warm day, from the already warm air he breathed in. He blinked as he cantered along, keeping his forelock and the flies out of his brown orbs. He tossed his mane again, shooing the flies away from him, as he came to the border of the land.
He stopped to a stand still, from a canter, and looked at the large palm-trees that were lined up in a row. He shook his head as he tried to think of how the palm-trees were line up so straight. He turned to the black female and wondered aloud, "I wonder how these palm-trees became like this, so straight in a row?" This sentence was more of a question toward the female, but he didn't expect her to answer it. He looked down at all of the fallen coconuts. He shook his head and remembered one of the dead foals, that was born a year before. The foal had come over to the palm-trees and had been hit in the head by a coconut and was killed, but he didn't tell this to the new female.

She watched him running and her eyes followed and her heart sunk. She was falling in love and she knew it.. "Im coming" she said

The bay stallion chuckled and nodded. "Yes, I will show you where the border is. Though you can see it from here." He told Lehu as they walked in the short grass. He pointed with his muzzle toward the long row of palm-trees that was the border of the land. He tossed his black mane into the air, and then took off, his long legs carrying him at a canter toward the palm-trees.
